Background: The world is still experiencing new COVID-19 cases mainly driven by the Omicron XBB sub-variant. It isn't clear that XBB is any more lethal than other variants, but evidence points to that fact that its mutations enable it to evade antibodies from prior infection and vaccines as well as existing monoclonal antibody treatments. It is from this Background that we invite the prod to speak on COVID-19 and immunology.
Allergies: Some COVID-19 symptoms present as allergies, thus there is need for clarity on the and what sets apart covid from allergies.
Attendees: The meeting will be a hybrid meeting where Health Journalists from across the country will attend both virtually and physically at the HCF offices in Milton Park. Officials from AVAC and Internews will also be in attendance virtually.
